Christine Savage trained in London as a graphic designer and jeweller. After finishing
college in 1988, she joined the Surrey Guild of Craftsmen with whom she is still a member.
Christine exhibits and sells extensively through craft fairs and galleries throughout
the UK and will happily undertake commissions.
She draws inspiration for her designs from natural and organic materials, such as rock strata,
animal skins, leaf patterns and naturally occuring moulds and fungi. Texturing and layering a
variety of precious metals and oxidised surfaces enable her to create depth and form. Combining
these materials and techniques with semi-precious and precious stones and beads, Christine
produces jewellery for both men and women.
